Kazakh Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms and Qazaq Green RES Association sign MoU, Qazaq Green reports.
The Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Renewable Energy Association Qazaq Green signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The document was signed by Chairman of ASPR RK Asset Ergaliev and Chairman of the Board of Qazaq Green Ainur Sospanova, reports Qazaq Green.
The memorandum provides for the coordination of joint efforts on the part of the state and business to develop a Concept for the development of the electric power industry in the medium term.
The parties expressed interest in developing such a document and readiness to make every effort to ensure that this document meets, first of all, the interests of the country, the population and domestic business.
Recall that, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at a meeting on the development of the country's electric power industry instructed to increase the share of RES in electricity generation to 15% by 2030.
