Kazakh and Chinese companies plan to build steel structure manufacturing plant for RES plants
QAZAQ GREEN. A meeting took place with Galymzhan Zhankuatov, Chairman of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the site of TechnoGroupService LLP (TGS).
In partnership with the Chinese energy construction corporation POWER CHINA, TGS plans to establish a plant in Zhezkazgan to produce metal sections for wind turbine towers, with an annual capacity of 100 towers (800 MW). The plant will also produce metal structures for solar and hydroelectric power plants. The products from this plant will be essential for large-scale renewable energy projects both within Kazakhstan and internationally, according to the website of Kazakstan's National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
