Auctions for Solar and Hydro Power Plants in Kazakhstan: participant registration is open

QAZAQ GREEN. KOREM JSC informs about the dates of the start of registration for participation in the auction bidding for the construction of SPP and HPP in the zones of the Unified Electricity System of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The auction will take place on 16-19 and 23-24 June from 3 p.m. (Astana time)
Auction Bidding for SPP
16 June for the Western zone, Terekty district
Amount of installed capacity – 30 MW
Application period: from 22 April to 5 June 2025
17 June for the Southern zone, Konaev city
Amount of installed capacity – 20 MW
Application period: from 23 April to 9 June 2025
18 June for the Southern zone, Konaev city
Amount of installed capacity – 20 MW
Application period: from 24 April to 10 June 2025
19 June for the Southern Zone, Kyzylorda Oblast
Amount of installed capacity – 20 MW
Application period: from 25 April to 11 June 2025
Auction bidding for HPP
23 June for All zones
Amount of installed capacity – 50 MW (small)
Application period: from 29 April to 13 June 2025
24 June for All zones
Amount of installed capacity – 200 MW (large)
Application Period: 30 April to 16 June 2025
