II International Business Festival on renewable energy kicks off in Kazakhstan
QAZAQ GREEN. The II International Business Festival on renewable energy, sources “Qazaq Green Fest” has started in Borovoe. The theme of the festival is "Energy Sustainability of Kazakhstan: Energy Transition."
Throughout the sessions, participants will engage in discussions surrounding critical topics related to the energy transition in Kazakhstan. These include ensuring energy security, state policies in the renewable energy sector, strategic visions for the country's power industry, accessible financing for renewable energy projects, gender and corporate aspects of ESG policy, and the development of carbon markets. Business representatives will openly address the challenges encountered during the implementation of renewable energy projects, fostering an exchange of international experiences.
The event is organized with the support of the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan, as well as the Akimat of Akmola Region. The thematic panel sessions will cover the following topics:

It is expected that the discussions will result in the creation of a Charter — an appeal from the business community to the Government of Kazakhstan — highlighting the need for further development of renewable energy sources in the country.
