Hevel constructed a third solar power plant for LUKOIL
QAZAQ GREEN. Hevel constructed the 2.35 MW solar power plant for LUKOIL in Krasnodar, according to Hevel's website. It is located on two plots of Krasnodar CHP plant with a total area of 3.53 hectares.
SPP received a certificate of qualification of a generating facility operating on the basis of a renewable energy source and was put into operation.
In addition to the design and construction of the plant, Hevel has supplied 6,000 double sided solar panels
The solar power plant in Krasnodar will generate 3 million kWh of clean electricity per year, preventing up to 1.5 thousand tons of greenhouse gas emissions per year. All of the electricity generated is supplied to the United Energy System of the South..
The solar power plant in Krasnodar was the third green energy facility built by Hevel for LUKOIL.
Earlier, in 2018 and 2021, two solar power plants with a total installed capacity of 30 MW were implemented at the company's oil refinery in Volgograd.
The new solar power plant was built as part of the regional electricity development programme for 2022-2026.
