New roof placement opens options for solar panels

QAZAQ GREEN. Viridian Solar and Keylite Roof Windows have introduced a joint solution that allows solar panels to be positioned alongside roof windows without altering the roof structure. The companies aligned Clearline fusion panels with Keylite’s common 06 and 07F window sizes through compatible flashing components.
For central roof installations, the F16-VC flashing integrates with Keylite’s VS RF system, enabling PV16-M10 and PV16-G1 panels to fit into a unified roof layout. The configuration expands placement options for solar arrays and supports more flexible rooftop designs.
Both companies note growing demand for adaptable layouts as residential solar systems increase in scale. The compatibility reduces installation complexity and avoids bespoke detailing when combining panels and roof windows.
