Kazakhstan opens registration for auction for the construction of wind power plant

QAZAQ GREEN. "Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Capacity Market Operator" JSC (KOREM) announces the start of registration for participation in the auction for the construction of a wind power plant (WPP) with an energy storage system in the Northern Zone of Kazakhstan’s Unified Electricity System. The total installed capacity of the facility will exceed 499 MW.
Registration period: March 4 – April 7, 2025
Auction date: April 15, 2025
Auction time (Astana time): starts at 15:00
