New CEO appointed to Financial Settlement Center for Renewable Energy Sources

QAZAQ GREEN. Arman Shaikhanov has been named CEO of the Financial Settlement Center for Renewable Energy Sources LLP under Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy, the ministry reported.
Arman Shaikhanov has more than two decades of experience in the energy sector. He graduated from the Ekibastuz Engineering and Technical Institute with a degree in Thermal Power Plants and from the Kazpotrebsoyuz Economic University in Karaganda with a degree in Economics.
He began his career in 2000 at energy facilities in Ekibastuz, progressing from machine operator to senior machine operator in the boiler department and power unit operator.
In 2006 he joined KEGOC JSC, where he held engineering, managerial and senior executive roles, including heading the departments for national electricity grid development, external relations and trading, and serving as managing director for grid development and system services.
Since September 2022 he has led the Almaty MES branch of KEGOC JSC.
