Kazakhstan announces grants for young scientists for 2023-2025
QAZAQ GREEN. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - MSHE RK) announces a competition for grants for scientific research of young scientists - postdoctoral researchers under the project "Zhas galym" for 2023-2025, the website of the ministry reports.
Research will be selected in the following priority areas of science development:
- Rational use of natural resources, fauna and flora, ecology;
- Geology, extraction and processing of mineral and hydrocarbon raw materials, new materials, technologies, safe products and constructions;
- Power engineering and mechanical engineering;
- Scientific research in natural sciences;
- Life and health sciences;
- Information, Communication and Space Technologies;
- Sustainable Development of Agro-Industrial Complex and Safety of Agricultural Production;
- Social Sciences and Humanities Research;
- Research in education and science;
- National security and defence and specialised scientific areas according to the Tender Documents.
Competitive bids must be submitted to the Committee of Science of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in electronic form, certified by the electronic digital signature of postdoctoral candidate and applicant, through the information system of JSC "NCSTE" at the link: https://is.ncste.kz.
The application submission deadline is 3 October 2022. The deadline for submission of applications is 31 October 2022 (inclusive).
Financing of 1 postdoctoral course with a duration of 35 months will not exceed 24 million KZT, including
for 2023 - no more than KZT 8 million;
for 2024 - no more than 8 mln tenge; and
in 2025 - no more than 8 million tenge; in 2024 - no more than 8 million tenge; in 2025 - no more than 8 million tenge.
