Solar power plant with a tracking system launched in Chechnya
QAZAQ GREEN. Hevel Group has launched a solar power plant equipped with a solar tracking system in the Chechen Republic, Russia. The project cost over one billion rubles, according to eprussia.ru.
The system allows the solar panels to adjust their position to follow the sun, enabling the 9.2 MW plant to boost electricity production by 20-25% compared to traditional stationary panel setups. The plant is expected to generate 13 million kWh of electricity annually.
The solar power plant is located on an area of about 18 hectares and became the second alternative plant in Chechnya.
