Kazakhstan to host II International Business Festival on Renewable Energy Sources "Qazaq Green Fest 2023"
QAZAQ GREEN. The Qazaq Green RES Association has announced that the II International Business Festival on Renewable Energy Sources Qazaq Green Fest 2023 "Energy sustainability of Kazakhstan: energy transition" will be held on 25-26 May 2023 at Rixos Borovoe Hotel in Borovoe.
The festival will bring together representatives of government agencies and organisations, domestic and foreign investors, international organisations and financial institutions, international experts and recognised global industry leaders, associations and universities.
Participants and speakers will discuss the following topics during the sessions:
- Global energy transition: challenges for Kazakhstan and experience of leading countries
- State policy and strategic vision of green agenda in Kazakhstan
- Ensuring the energy sustainability of Kazakhstan
- Green finance in Kazakhstan: problem of lack of access to affordable credit for renewable energy projects
- ESG policy: gender aspects and corporate governance
- Carbon markets: international experience and development prospects in Kazakhstan
- Open mic: business on the problems of the RES industry
Festival events will include:
- A charity event for children from orphanages
- Contest of journalistic materials on renewable energy
- Exhibition of industry leaders and key players in RES in Kazakhstan
