Cameras to be installed in remote villages beyond the reach of power and internet

QAZAQ GREEN. Sergek cameras will soon operate in some of the most remote parts of Kazakhstan - places without access to electricity or internet.
In the village of Zhaipak, located in Alakol district of Zhetysu region, a new hardware-software complex (HSC) has been launched in pilot mode. The system can function completely off-grid, powered by a solar panel that converts sunlight into electricity.
The solution was developed in response to the lack of infrastructure at the installation site. Initially, a rechargeable battery was used, but it required daily replacement—a challenge, given the village’s remote location. The new solar-powered module eliminates that dependency and allows the equipment to run continuously, even in isolated areas.
Engineers at Sergek Group designed the system for ease of installation and long-term operation without the need for frequent maintenance. This development marks an important step in expanding surveillance capabilities beyond cities—covering highways and sparsely populated rural regions.
