QAZAQ GREEN.  On September 25, 2026, an auction was held to select a project for the construction of a 50 MW solar power plant in the Northern Zone of Kazakhstan’s Unified Power System, in the Karaganda Region.

Two companies were admitted to participate in the auction. During the trading session, participants submitted two price bids, with the total volume of submitted bids amounting to 50 MW.

AA SOLAR LLP was selected as the auction winner. The project has an installed capacity of 50 MW, with an auction price of 34.60 tenge per kWh, excluding VAT.

Representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy, the Financial Settlement Centre for Renewable Energy Support LLP and the Kazakhstan Electric Power Association participated in the auction as observers.

The observers confirmed the transparency and proper functioning of the electronic trading system operated by KOREM JSC.
