TotalEnergies sells 50% stake in 270 MW renewables portfolio in France for €265 million

QAZAQ GREEN. TotalEnergies has completed the sale of a 50% stake in a 270 MW portfolio of wind and solar assets in France to investment funds managed by Eiffel Investment Group. The transaction values the portfolio at €265 million.
Following the deal, TotalEnergies retains a 50% share and remains the operator of the assets, offtaking and marketing most of the electricity produced.
The company follows a business model under which it divests up to 50% of renewable assets once projects reach commercial operation, enabling it to maximise asset value and reduce risks.
As of June 2025, TotalEnergies has more than 30 GW of installed renewable power capacity. It targets 35 GW by the end of 2025 and more than 100 TWh of net electricity generation by 2030.
