Kazakhstan and China's East Hope Group discuss investments in renewable energy

QAZAQ GREEN. Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov has met with Chen Lei, General Director for Strategic Investments of East Hope Group, the Ministry of Energy's press service reports.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for implementing investment projects in Kostanay Region. The Chinese side expressed interest in developing projects in the field of renewable energy sources, as well as in the coal industry.
Yerlan Akkenzhenov confirmed the Ministry of Energy's readiness to provide the necessary support for initiatives aimed at developing Kazakhstan's industrial and energy potential. The meeting also highlighted the importance of attracting investment, introducing modern technologies, localising production and creating new high-value-added jobs.
