KOREM publishes a list of companies eligible to participate in auctions for the construction of maneuverable generating units

QAZAQ GREEN. The organizer of the auction JSC "Kazakhstan electricity and power market operator" informs that on July 29-30, 2024 held a meeting of the Commission for decision-making related to the organization and conduct of auction bidding for the construction of newly commissioned generating units with maneuverable generation mode (hereinafter - the Commission).
The Commission, having considered applications and documentation from applicants for participation in the auction bidding, decided to admit the following companies to registration in the electronic system of the organizer of the auction bidding:

2. Production and commercial company "Continent Co Ltd" LLP
3. Atyrau TPP JSC
4. Sterna Power LLP
5. Aktobe Energy Gaz LLP
6. Taraz Energy LLP
7. Energy Power Plant Construction LLP
8. GasEnergyQz LLP
9. Energy Flow Generation LLP
10. Aspan Energy LLP
11. Zhambyl GRES (50 MW) JSC
12. Zhambyl GRES (400 MW) JSC
13. Aktobe Power Plant LLP
14. Taraz Kuat LLP
15. Aksa Energy Atyrau Ltd Private company
It should be noted that according to the auction schedule for 2024, approved by the order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 73 of February 20, 2024, auction bidding for the construction of newly commissioned flexible generation units with a total installed capacity of 700 MW will be held on August 23, 2024.
In turn, JSC «Kazakhstan electricity and power market operator» invites the above companies to register in the electronic system of the auction organizer.
