Kazakhstan and TotalEnergies Renewables strengthen cooperation in renewable energy

QAZAQ GREEN. On December 4, First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar met with Olivier Jouny, Senior Vice President of TotalEnergies Renewables, as reported by primeminister.kz.
During their discussion, the parties reviewed the progress of the investment project to build a 1 GW wind farm in the Zhambyl region and exchanged views on broader cooperation in the energy sector.
Roman Sklyar emphasized Kazakhstan's commitment to boosting foreign direct investment and reiterated the country's readiness to offer full support to investors.
Olivier Jouny highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation in renewable energy development and assured that the wind farm project would be successfully implemented.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed on the necessity of deepening collaboration and strengthening bilateral relations.
TotalEnergies Renewables, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies SE (France), one of the world's largest energy companies, has already implemented two solar energy projects in the Kyzylorda and Zhambyl regions in partnership with local stakeholders.
