Italy to host KEY - The Energy Transition Expo from March 5-7, 2025

QAZAQ GREEN. From March 5 to 7, 2025, the Rimini Expo Centre will host KEY - The Energy Transition Expo, the leading European event dedicated to technologies, services, and integrated solutions for energy efficiency and renewable energies.
The expo will bring together industry leaders to showcase the acceleration of energy and climate policies and discuss market opportunities in Italy and the Mediterranean region. The event will span over 90,000 square meters of exhibition space across 20 pavilions, featuring a new layout and the opening of the West Entrance. The focus will be on international collaboration, innovation, and emerging thematic trends.
The expo will showcase seven key thematic sectors: solar and photovoltaic energy, wind energy, hydrogen, energy storage, energy efficiency, electric mobility, and sustainable cities. These sectors will be complemented by special areas dedicated to transversal projects, networking, innovation, and training. The new layout is designed to create a clear exhibition path through the thematic zones, which remain distinct yet interconnected, enhancing synergies and the visitor experience.
Key new features of the exhibition include the expansion of the hydrogen area, a thematic focus on sustainable ports, and the debut of the Innovation District pavilion.
HYPE - Hydrogen Power Expo, supported by Hydrogen & Fuel Cells and jointly organized by the Italian Exhibition Group and Hannover Fairs International GmbH, will provide an in-depth exploration of hydrogen’s crucial role in the energy transition.
Su.port - Sustainable Ports for Energy Transition will focus on the electrification of port docks, essential for reducing emissions, promoting port sustainability, and accelerating offshore wind energy solutions, including floating wind farms.
The Innovation District will serve as a hub for technological innovations, connecting companies and start-ups to foster new product and service development in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
For the first time, KEY will host the Green Jobs & Skill initiative to bridge the green skills gap by matching labor demand and supply. The project will provide valuable training and career guidance opportunities for students and young professionals while helping companies connect with promising talent.
The rich and international program of events, developed by KEY’s Technical Scientific Committee, will address topics ranging from solar energy, Renewable Energy Communities, and green urban redevelopment to electric mobility, hydrogen, nuclear power, and Artificial Intelligence. Discussions will also focus on energy cost containment, regulatory issues, and emerging financial opportunities.
