Saudi company to install solar panels on the roofs of government buildings in Kyrgyzstan

QAZAQ GREEN. In Bishkek on August 27, the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic Taalaibek Ibraev had a meeting with the General Director of the Saudi company FAS Energy Turki Alhokair, reports Asia TV.
According to the department, during the meeting the parties discussed issues of interstate energy cooperation, the energy potential of Kyrgyzstan, joint implementation of projects, and exchange of experience in the use of modern technologies.
In addition, the Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic T. Ibraev and the General Director of FAS Energy Turki Alhokair signed a memorandum in order to deepen further cooperation.
The main purpose of this memorandum is to install solar panels on the roofs of houses and buildings where state-owned enterprises are located.
The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov and relevant employees of both sides.
