Satbayev University scientists launch solar panel production

QAZAQ GREEN. A team of scientists from the Institute of Physics and Technology, led by Nikolay Chuchvaga, has launched an experimental-industrial workshop for solar module production. Supported by the Science Foundation in collaboration with the company TechnoGroupService, the workshop aims to make solar energy accessible to everyone, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
“This is a unique facility for producing next-generation solar panels,” the statement highlights. The panels can be utilized as facade and window elements for buildings, offering both functionality and aesthetic value.
The panel designs can be customized according to the customer’s needs, allowing seamless integration into architectural elements while generating energy. Scientists emphasize that this workshop represents a pivotal step forward in Kazakhstan’s solar energy development, paving the way for new opportunities in sustainable energy.
