Kazakhstan continues accepting applications for May RES auctions

QAZAQ GREEN. KOREM JSC previously announced the opening of registration for participation in auction trading for the construction of renewable energy facilities in Kazakhstan. The acceptance of applications began on 18 April and is ongoing.
The auctions are scheduled for 18–22 May at 15:00 Astana time and cover solar, wind and hydropower projects across various zones of the country's Unified Electric Power System.
On 18 May, bidding will be held for the construction of a solar power plant in the Kyzylorda region (southern zone) with a capacity of 65 MW. The deadline for applications is 8 May.
On 19 May, an auction for wind generation in Aktobe (northern zone) with a capacity of 100 MW will take place, with applications accepted until 11 May. On 20 May, similar bidding will be held for the Ulytau region with an installed capacity of 100 MW, with a submission deadline of 12 May.
On 21 May, auctions for large hydropower plants across all zones are scheduled, with a total capacity of 150 MW and an application deadline of 13 May. On 22 May, bidding for small hydropower plants with a capacity of 50 MW will take place, with applications due by 14 May.
