Kazakhstan ratifies special agreement with France to fight against global warming

QAZAQ GREEN. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan has ratified a special agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and France on fighting against global warming, Akorda reports.
"The head of state signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On ratification of the Special Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the French Republic on cooperation in the fight against global warming", the report said.
This will enable attracting direct foreign investments into the energy industry and fulfil the commitments made by Kazakhstan under the Paris Agreement.
