Nine renewable energy facilities to be built in Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn region in 2025

QAZAQ GREEN. In 2025, nine renewable energy facilities are set to be constructed in Kyrgyzstan’s Naryn region. This was announced by Altynbek Yergeshov, the presidential representative for the region, during a meeting reviewing the results of 2024, Economist.kg reports.
The planned projects include five small hydropower plants, two solar power plants, and two wind farms.
Additionally, in 2025, the Naryn region aims to attract $80 million in foreign investment, increase non-tax revenues to 264.1 million KGS, and boost foreign direct investment (FDI) to 8.5 billion KGS. As part of the region’s economic development strategy, new enterprises will be launched, modern infrastructure will be built in Naryn, and road renovations will be carried out.
