Kyrgyzstan announces tender for land plots for construction of six small hydropower plants

QAZAQ GREEN. The Green Energy Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced a tender for land plots designated for the construction of renewable energy facilities. Six lots have been put up for competition — all involving the construction of small hydropower plants (SHPPs) with a combined capacity of approximately 27.35 MW.
Four lots are located in Osh Region: SHPPs with capacities of 500 kW and 6 MW in Uzgen District, as well as plants of 9 MW in Alai District and 1.85 MW in Uzgen District. The remaining two lots are situated in Issyk-Kul Region, in Jeti-Oguz District, with capacities of 4 MW and 6 MW respectively.
The tender will be held on June 9, 2026 at 14:00 at the Green Energy Fund's premises at 56 Erkindik Boulevard, Bishkek. Applications must be submitted by 18:00 on June 5, 2026 at the same address. Tender documentation is available on the Fund's official website under the "For Investors" section.
