Sungat Yessimkhanov appointed chairman of Energy Ministry’s Committee

QAZAQ GREEN. Sungat Yessimkhanov has been appointed chairman of the Committee of atomic and energy supervision and control of the Kazakh Ministry of Energy, the press office of the Kazakh prime minister reports.
"By order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sungat Yessimkhanov was appointed Chairman of the Committee of atomic and energy supervision and control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the press office said.
Sungat Yesimkhanov was born in 1973 in Pavlodar region.
He graduated from the Pavlodar State University, Karaganda Institute of Education "Bolashak".
He started his career in 1996 as an engineer in the hydrometallurgical shop of Aluminium of Kazakhstan JSC.
In 2001-2007, he worked in the Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition.
In 2008-2010, he headed the Department of Energy and Utilities of Pavlodar Region.
In 2010 - 2013, he worked as President of Kazakhenergoekspertiza JSC.
In 2013-2014, he was the Director of the Department of Electric Power and Coal Industry of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2014 - 2018, he worked as Chairman of the Committee of atomic and energy supervision and control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2018-2020, he was the Vice-Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In 2020-2021, he was First Deputy Akim of the Pavlodar region.
Since May 2021, he was the Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC.
